Mix Tape Wednesday- St. Patty's Edition

Today is a very special day for the Wednesday mix tape. In honor of St. Patrick's Day today's music selections will be solely devoted to Irish Musicians.

Confession- I am of Irish descent. I believe this is a large reason why I appreciate Irish things like the color green, Lucky Charms and the Leprechaun movies. Every year St. Patrick's Day is a wonderful excuse to recognize Irish culture by splashing green food coloring into a beer and calling in "sick" to work the next day.

So I hope you enjoy these songs. Thank You Ireland for your pretty music, beer and the movie Rudy! Happy St. Patrick's Day!

Here is a song from one of my favorite movies of all time Once, if you haven't seen it, please do yourself a favor and do so!

Damien Rice- 9 Crimes

The Cranberries- Zombie

Snow Patrol- How To Be Dead

No celebration of Irish Music would be complete without U2

And to finish it off, it doesn't get much more Irish-y than Flogging Molly

Have a very HAPPY ST. PATRICK'S DAY everyone!
