A regular Friday attraction to the blog will be me giving you the down low on what is coming out in Theaters.
This weekend is a clear sign that the Summer Movie season is over. There are 3 lackluster films that really haven't had much of a hyped arrival. However, they all do offer something completely different.
Are You Afraid of the Dark?
Early Expectations- I actually think this movie will be half decent. The concept of the film alone is guaranteed to make you squirm a little in your seat and let's be honest no one expects this to be Oscar Gold
Nathan's Take- Wait to Rent
Our Idiot Brother
Early Expectations- I am a huge Paul Rudd fan. This film played at Sundance to solid reviews and critics have said Paul Rudd makes this film. I look forward to seeing the film solely for his performance.
Nathan's Take- If You Need a Laugh, See it, but otherwise I say Wait to Rent
Columbiana-
Early Expectations- I don't know why but this movie does nothing for me. It lacks an original plot or anything that looks like I haven't seen before. Let's just call it Lady Jason Bourne meets Salt meets Tomb Raider meets Taken meets... Yeah you got it.
Nathan's Take- Skip it
And Finally, if you are looking for a more live Theatre experience, consider seeing this...
No Sex Please, We're British
Yes, that is right. That is me in the show and this could be considered a shameless self-promotion. But it is my blog :) Come see the show tonight at 7:30 and tomorrow at 7:30pm. It is your last chance! You will laugh I guarantee it!
