Quick Review- Paul

This is a movie for the Sci-Fi geeks of the world. In the theater, I often found myself wishing I was more of a ginormous geek that had seen all of the dozen or so films they reference and pay homage to. This is a fun film. Seth Rogen is the absolute star of this film as the voice of Paul, a foul-mouthed alien who crash landed on earth many years ago.

The humor of the film works on many levels of immaturity and also deep thought. Simon Pegg and Nick Frost are wonderful together yet again and Kristen Wiig steals her fair share of scenes. This is a good comedy that I really enjoyed. The ending was one of my few problems with it due to its abruptness and sort of confusing twist. I feel like if I have seen more of the films it referenced it would have earned it an extra star. Overall, the film is hilarious and a good time.
