3 Day Weekend Every Weekend Please!

I learned something yesterday-

Monday should be a day of rest.

I firmly believe if Monday was universally conceived as a day I didn't have to work, I would be a happier person. Wouldn't you?

Mondays are the reason for all that is bad in the world. Let me provide you with evidence:

1) As children, we were raised to hate Mondays because that was when we went back to school... Monday = Satan.

2) Only terrible television exists on Mondays. If Monday primetime television didn't exist we would never have heard of Kevin James. Therefore such movies like Zookeeper and Paul Blart: Mall Cop never would have existed. The world would be better.

3) Hitler, Stalin, Osama Bin Laden and Ray Romano were all born on Mondays.

4) Radio stations play more Justin Bieber, Katy Perry and Taylor Swift songs on Monday than any other day #EarsBleeding

5) Monday's just blow.

So my proposal is to get rid of this day they call Monday and give it a new name.

A name that would help it transition from Sunday perfectly. That name would be Funday.
Sunday Funday is a commonly used term to give college students an excuse to drink and pretend that Monday classes will not come. It's also a great name for forced Family time, where kids can watch tv and play games with their family, all the while dreading the clock ticking til bed time.

But my plan is to erase Monday. Boom Gone. 4 days of work and/or school. 3 days a fun.  The idea is a genius. I can't be wrong.

With this new week schedule. One law would be established on Fundays:

- All business have All Day Happy Hour. This includes retail and electronic stores, movie theaters and Car dealerships. Buy One Get One Free- Everything. I bet you all are liking this idea now.

------ Now, you reading this might think you have discovered a flaw in my plan. In order for places to function they must have workers. So some people will have to work on Funday. Yes... Unfortunately, that is true. But here is my proposal, everyone working gets paid 3 times what they make usually. Boom.

I believe that this is the solution to our National Debt and struggling economy and War.

...

Ok, so that will never happen. But, I thought I would go on a fantastical rant. I hope you enjoyed.

Unfortunately I will be M.I.A. from the blog for awhile.

I am traveling to San Francisco with my fellow castmembers of Hamlet Vs. Zombies to perform at the San Francisco Fringe Festival. It is a really exciting opportunity for Springfield Theater and a chance for this Midwest town to perform along side theaters from New York, Chicago and Los Angeles.

For you new people possibly stumbling along the blog. I really want to thank you for your patience in our transition from KRBK to FOX KRBK. I have never been around so many people working so hard and working under such pressure. We really are doing everything we can to make sure everyone gets to be a part of what we have planned here. I am more than thrilled to be a part of this amazing television station and I hope that all our hard work pays off and you all get to enjoy it sooner than you know.

Thanks for your patience again and when I get back from San Fran, get ready for some more Nathan's Take fun.
